With drivers still claiming confusion on Welsh roads due to Labour’s rollout of their 20mph speed limit policy, the Welsh Conservatives have called for promised changes to be implemented.
Commenting, Welsh Conservative Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Transport and Infrastructure, Peter Fox MS, said:
“Whilst we have consistently supported a 20mph speed limit outside sensitive areas, Labour’s rollout of the scheme has led to nothing but confusion and frustration.
“The Labour Government have previously admitted they have got this policy wrong, yet we still haven’t seen any significant changes.
“More must be done by Labour to ensure speed limits are targeted appropriately, focusing on areas where they make sense, to restore public confidence and ease the burden on drivers who are simply trying to get from A to B."
