Commenting following his exchange with Labour’s Cabinet Secretary for Health in the Senedd today, Welsh Conservative Shadow Health Minister, Sam Rowlands MS said:
“I was disappointed, but not surprised to read that the Labour Welsh Government doesn’t know why people end up in A&E, so it’s no wonder that they don’t have a robust plan to tackle excessive waits.
“A&E waits have worsened again against the twelve and four-hour targets, but instead of discussing tackling this issue, Labour set aside four hours this week to discuss spending millions putting more politicians in the Senedd.
“The Welsh Conservatives want to see an end to Labour and Plaid’s vanity projects and would spend the money on our Welsh NHS instead.”
