Following his exchange with Labour’s Health Minister at potentially her final oral questions in the role, Gareth Davies MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Social Care said:
“After 25 years of Labour failure to run our Welsh NHS properly, it’s about time for a change in direction.
“Cancer targets – missed. A&E targets – missed. Two-year waits target – missed twice. All culminating in the longest waiting lists in the UK.
“We need to see Labour’s vanity projects binned, like their plans to create 36 more politicians, so that the full consequential uplift for health can finally be spent restoring our Welsh NHS.”
