Commenting on the results of the British Social Attitudes (BSA) survey which revealed satisfaction for the Labour-run Welsh NHS at 21% and dissatisfaction at 60%, Russell George MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Health Minister said:
“This survey is a sad indictment of the Labour Government’s running of our health service.
“Our Welsh NHS is a vital institution, with selfless staff working tirelessly every day, but after 25 years of our health service being run by Labour Governments, our Welsh NHS scored lowest for satisfaction and highest for dissatisfaction across the UK by some margin.
“The Welsh Conservatives have a plan to enact a substantial workforce plan to boost healthcare staffing numbers and spend the entire health uplift on our Welsh NHS to ensure that it is fully resourced, reliable and renowned once again.”
