Responding to the Welsh Government voting against adopting the recommendations of the Cass review, Laura Anne Jones MS, Shadow Minister for Social Justice, said:
“The Cass review has shattered the worldview of many people in the Labour Party.
“The landmark review has shown Labour’s ideology to be flawed and damaging, so they’ve stuck their fingers in their ears and voted against adopting the review’s recommendations.
“The Welsh Conservatives will always work to safeguard our children from the consequences of political trends.”
