Commenting on the news that the Celtic Sea offshore wind project has not received a contract as part of the sixth renewables auction, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Economy and Energy, Samuel Kurtz MS said:
“This is a disappointing missed opportunity by Labour to give Wales its share of investment and deliver the prosperity that they claim to want to deliver in Wales. Yet again Labour say one thing and do another.
“Experts are concerned that Labour is set to miss its home-grown energy capacity targets, yet the Celtic Sea’s potential, aligned with the Celtic Freeport, is being overlooked by Labour.”
