Responding to the Prime Minister’s visit to Wales to meet Eluned Morgan, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“This visit is an opportunity for the First Minister to collar the Prime Minister on a very urgent matter.
“The First Minister’s priority should be informing the Prime Minister how devastating the decision to scrap £110 million in winter fuel payments will be for pensioners across Wales and convincing him to reverse it, but sadly we know that won’t happen.
“Labour should scrap their £120 million vanity project of more Senedd Members and focus on keeping pensioners warm this winter.”
