Ahead of a key vote on winter fuel payments in the House of Commons on Tuesday, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“This vote is an opportunity for Welsh MPs to show some backbone.
“The Labour Government’s unforgivable decision to scrap winter fuel payments risks creating a fuel poverty crisis among pensioners in Wales.
“Anyone with a conscience should vote against this measure and keep pensioners warm this winter.”
