Responding to the release of a letter from outgoing First Minister, Vaughan Gething, to the Chief Executive and Clerk of the Senedd following a Welsh Conservative motion compelling Gething to release all of the evidence he relied upon to sack a former Minister, the Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew RT Davies MS said:
“There remain unanswered questions for both the outgoing First Minister and his former Minister. I am not convinced that this is necessarily the end of the matter, given Vaughan Gething’s carefully crafted wording.
“It is vital that Gething is clear that he has released ‘all’ of the evidence he has, as required by the Welsh Conservative motion, and not just the parts of the evidence that ‘underpinned’ his decision.
“Any additional messages in Hannah Blythyn’s possession should also be released to the UK Covid Inquiry.”
