Following FMQs, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“The vote on assisted dying in Parliament last week will have significant consequences in Wales.
“It’s therefore vital that the Welsh Government puts more resources into palliative care to meet the needs of people in end-of-life situations.
“While many of us may not agree with assisted dying becoming law, I know we can all agree that people should not feel the need to resort to using assisted dying because of a lack of resource in palliative care.”
