Following FMQs, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“It will surprise nobody that the First Minister won’t speak out against a rise in national insurance for employers.
“This will further compound fears across Wales and the UK that a rise is coming in the Budget, since the Prime Minister has failed to rule one out.
“This tax on jobs must not be raised, and the Welsh Government should reinstate business rates relief in line with what is available in other parts of the UK.”
