Responding to reports that the controversial waste company that gave Vaughan Gething £200,000 also gave thousands to attend Welsh Labour gala dinners, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“This isn’t just a Vaughan Gething problem, this is a Labour Party problem.
“Despite Labour figures publicly saying Gething should not have accepted cash from this firm, the same dirty money was already swilling around the party.
“Now, having turned down the leftover cash from Gething’s campaign, the wider Labour Party must answer why they accepted thousands from the same firm.”
