“Labour's record on homelessness in Wales is shocking and as they continue to plough ahead with their failing stratergy, the situation is only getting worse. This has been a ticking time bomb for more than two decades, with successive Labour Ministers dismissing all warnings and ignoring repeated advice.
“There is a very real human cost within these statistics, people's lives are being made much more difficult by Labour's inability to get a grip on the issue. Their Renting Homes Wales Act has in fact contributed to increasing the numbers of those homeless in Wales and it is now time for a review of this act.
“The Welsh Government must adopt more effective and sustainable approaches to address homelessness and rough sleeping that ensure long-term stability and support for affected individuals and families, Labour's current plans are simply not working.”
