Commenting on a Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) report showing improvements in the Singleton Hospital maternity service, Sam Rowlands MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Health Minister said:
“It is encouraging to hear of improvements in Singleton Hospital, but it’s clear that more must be done to restore the maternity service and its reputation.
“The ongoing independent review of the service has my full support and I await those findings which will complement HIW’s report.
“I would encourage the Labour Welsh Government to support the Hospital to continue to make improvements to give confidence back to parents in the area.”
