“Labour's approach to the new curriculum doesn't follow the evidence in terms of raising educational standards and Wales' rock bottom PISA scores.
“Turning a blind eye to the evidence in the IFS report is a callous act of stubbornness and condemns students in Wales to educational stagnation or further decline, while the rest of the UK continues to progress.
“The Welsh Conservatives have been clear on how we would prioritise children’s education to ensure smaller class sizes, reduce the workload for teachers, boost the attainment levels in Wales and save Labour's lost generation.”
