Commenting following his exchange with Labour’s new Cabinet Secretary for Health in the Senedd, Sam Rowlands MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Health Minister said:
“Labour’s belated willingness to utilise the private & third sector to finally get to grips with the challenges in the NHS is a welcome change.
“The people of Wales aren’t interested in Labour’s ideological constraints, they want to see pragmatic solutions to cut NHS waiting times.
“But we won’t get anywhere without setting robust and measurable targets and sadly, it’s clear that Labour has given up on producing ambitious results.”
