Following questions to the Culture Minister, Laura Anne Jones MS, Shadow Minister for Culture, said
“The Labour Welsh Government is making Wales a cultural desert.
“The Welsh National Opera is a crown jewel institution in Wales and showcases our status as the land of song, but cuts to its budget are putting it at risk.
“The Welsh Government must act so that the WNO can be preserved for future generations.”
