Labour must do more on cladding safety

Responding to ongoing concerns about cladding following a tower block fire in east London, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:

 “Cladding in Wales continues to leave residents trapped in potentially unsafe buildings and the inaction on this issue is deeply concerning.

 “The Welsh Government must do more to compel developers to make buildings safe to give peace of mind to residents frightened that they will be woken up by a fire alarm rather than an alarm clock.”
