Responding to the news that the Labour Welsh Government have spent £18,677.72 on TfW leaflets, Natasha Asghar MS, Shadow Transport Minister, said:
“The amount of money that has been sunk into TfW over the years, with no apparent oversight, is staggering.
“It is concerning that TfW is funded through Welsh taxpayers, yet their costs continue to rack up at a staggering rate; £125m to bail out falling passenger numbers, nearly £20k on leaflets and more than £90k per month on software.
“It is high time that commuters in Wales see significant improvement to Transport for Wales services, and taxpayers receive a positive return on their investment.”
