Responding to the news that Margam Castle in Port Talbot will be receiving grant funding for capital works from the National Lottery, Tom Giffard, Shadow Minister for Tourism, said:
“This is positive news for a great cultural and historic asset in Port Talbot.
“With Labour shunning levelling up, slashing council budgets and failing to deliver on their promises to steelworkers, this grant will be welcomed by the community.
“The Labour Welsh Government must support projects like this the length and breadth of Wales as the tourism sector benefits will pay dividends, and our heritage can be protected.”
