“Good intentions are all too often undermined by poor implementation and this can be seen in the Labour Welsh Government’s approach to recycling.
“More and more Labour councils continue to introduce policies that are unpopular, confusing and frustrating whilst the looming threat of unlimited fines is unfair to businesses.
“Is this how a circular economy is supposed to work? Rather than burden businesses and residents, Labour should bring them along on the journey. By making recycling more challenging unfortunately, instances of fly tipping are likely to increase.”
