Ahead of the debate on the General Principles of the Residential Outdoor Education (Wales) Bill in the Senedd, Sam Rowlands MS, Welsh Conservative Senedd Member for North Wales, said:
“This is a chance for Wales to lead the way on outdoor education.
“My Bill would ensure that all children in Welsh schools are able to have access to high-quality residential outdoor education, which will improve educational outcomes and provide lifechanging experiences.
“I hope that Members across the Senedd and across the political divide will join me in ensuring that young people can have this great opportunity available to them.”
