Responding to the news that the UK Conservative Energy Minister Andrew Bowie will today confirm a boost for the UK’s floating offshore wind industry, Janet Finch-Saunders MS, Shadow Climate Change Minister, said:

“This is fantastic news and a huge boost for Wales’ economy, job creation and environmental credentials.

“Labour in Wales continues to talk the talk on the climate, yet it is the UK Conservative Government that walks the walk and continues to deliver for Wales.

“Coupling this news with the purchase of the Wylfa site for nuclear power shows the Conservatives are looking out for the long-term future of Wales.”
