Commenting on the latest inflation figures revealing a headline fall to 2.3%, the lowest level in almost three years, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Economy and Energy, Samuel Kurtz MS said:
“This is excellent news for people the length and breadth of Wales as inflation falls and taxes are cut.
“Following substantial external pressures on our economy by the pandemic and Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, the fall in inflation shows that the UK Conservative Government's plan is working.
“The Labour Government in Cardiff Bay now needs to play its part to support the Welsh economy by implementing business rates relief fully and reforming the tax on growth.”
