Commenting on GCSE results day, Tom Giffard MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Education Minister said:
“Congratulations to students receiving their GCSE results today and all the staff who have worked exceedingly hard to get pupils to where they are today, I would like to wish everyone of you the best of luck with whatever you choose to do next.
“Your achievements today are testament to all your hard work and determination, despite Labour’s cuts to the Education budget affecting an already struggling teacher workforce.”
“It is clear when you look at Labour’s record on education that Wales deserves better, the Welsh Conservatives have a plan to appropriately fund education and save Labour’s lost generation.”
