Commenting on the announcement by the Princess of Wales, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“I and the whole Welsh Conservative family send our thoughts and prayers to the Princess of Wales and the whole Royal Family at this time.
“The Princess’ decision to make her diagnosis public will help to raise awareness for all of those who have had their lives touched by cancer.
“We wish the Princess well as she battles her illness, and hope that she can be given the space to do so with her family in privacy.”
