Commenting on Labour’s Secretary of State for Health, Wes Streeting’s consultation launch to digitalise the NHS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Health, Sam Rowlands MS said:
“I couldn’t agree more with Wes Streeting’s drive to digitalise the NHS, but when it comes to Labour in Wales, actions speak louder than words.
“The Labour Welsh Government is behind the curve. They’re still buying fax machines and have yet to exit the testing phase of the Welsh NHS app.
“The Welsh Conservatives have been calling for digital health record access, the abolition of fax machines and the rollout of a fully functioning Welsh NHS app for years as part of an NHS tech bundle.”
