Commenting on the findings of the Welsh social care workforce survey, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Social Care, Gareth Davies MS said:
“There is still clearly a significant level of dissatisfaction amongst social workers in Wales with 2-in-5 dissatisfied and only 1-in-5 feeling valued.
“While I am glad that the Labour Government submitted to Welsh Conservative pressure to pay those working in the social care sector the real living wage, there is clearly more that they need to do to ensure that this vital job is made rewarding for generations to come.”
