Businesses in Wales are facing a make-or-break Bank Holiday Easter.
Commenting, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Tourism, Tom Giffard MS said:
“Welsh Conservatives have regularly called for an ambitious tourism policy from the Labour Government, so businesses can showcase everything Wales has to offer without restrictions.
“Businesses within the tourism sector are facing difficult times as it is, with the Welsh Government piling on further red tape which will harm the industry rather than boost it.
“With tourism employing 1 in 7 people in Wales, the Labour Government in Cardiff Bay must support this crucial sector, not keep hampering it with policies like a toxic tourism tax that would further push visitors away and put jobs at risk.”
