Welsh Conservative Leader Andrew RT Davies challenged the First Minister in the Senedd chamber this afternoon on the budget, blanket 20mph speed limits, and the Welsh NHS.
Commenting on the exchange, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, Andrew RT Davies MS said:
“As usual, the First Minister totally deflected all responsibility for the Welsh NHS - despite Labour being the only Government in the UK to ever cut a health budget, not once but twice. This is all whilst Wales is the only part of the UK where all its health boards are in financial special measures.
“With a Senedd petition calling for blanket 20mph speed limits to be scrapped reaching over 170,000, the First Minister is still ploughing ahead with Labour’s proposal to put another 36 politicians into the Senedd at a cost of £120 million to the Welsh taxpayer.
“Today, the First Minister refused to provide assurances that our Welsh NHS will be protected in the budget round. It’s clear now more than ever that Labour’s priorities are not the people’s priorities.”
