Labour must follow best practice in eradicating TB in Wales

Responding to the news that England records lowest TB new herd incidents in 20 years, Samuel Kurtz MS, Shadow Rural Affairs Minister, said:

“The Labour Government continues to get it wrong with their TB strategy in Wales and I sadly don’t see this changing with a new First Minister or a new Rural Affairs Minister.

 “Across the border, the progress being made is leaps and bounds ahead, while Labour’s stubbornness not to follow suit is harming the farming industry.

 “The Welsh Conservatives would use all of the tools available in the toolbox to eradicate this horrific disease and bring much needed peace of mind to the farming community.”
