Responding to the BMA’s survey showing over a third of medical students plan to leave Wales after they graduate, Russell George MS, Shadow Minister for Health, said:
“Labour is overseeing a doctor drain in Wales.
“The Labour Government’s failure to pay doctors fairly and to meet the pay review body recommendations is meaning that potential medical staff, trained in Wales, are leaving for better conditions elsewhere.
“The Welsh Conservatives would scrap Labour’s plans to spend tens of millions of pounds on more politicians, and properly invest in our Welsh NHS.”
