Responding to comments made by Macmillan’s head of partnerships, Richard Pugh, that longer cancer waits in Wales is a “crisis”, Sam Rowlands MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Health Minister said:
“Labour has lost credibility on treatment waits as they continue to grow in Wales.
“Performance has decreased on cancer targets to its second worst level ever, with any semblance of progress gone.
“Only the Welsh Conservatives will spend every penny received from the UK Government for health on our Welsh NHS to recruit the staff we need and tackle this crisis.”
