Responding to a sitting Labour MP saying Vaughan Gething should face an independent investigation over donations to his leadership campaign from a controversial waste company, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“It’s now abundantly clear that, unless there is an independent investigation, Vaughan Gething will find it impossible to govern.
“Wales needs to see urgent action, to tackle Labour’s waiting lists, cancer crisis and poor educational outcomes, but instead the Labour Party is tearing itself apart over Gething’s donations
“It’s time to draw a line under this with a full, independent investigation, so we can move on and work together in Wales’ interest.”
