Responding to Vaughan Gething claiming he did not delete messages to avoid Welsh Government decision-making being captured by the FOIA, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“The First Minister is being economical with the truth, and is getting quite the reputation.
“People will find his explanation incredibly hard to believe when, in the messages, Welsh Government business is clearly being discussed.
“The First Minister should stop arrogantly treating people like fools.”
