“I am delighted that my much-needed British Sign Language Bill is moving forward after a vote in the Senedd today.
“The barriers that exist for deaf people and their families in education, health, public services, support services and in the workplace need to be removed and this Bill seeks to do just that.
“I was pleased to engage with Senedd members to gain support for a Bill that seeks to give deaf communities a real voice in the design and delivery of services to ensure they meet their needs.”
