Following questions to the Minister for Culture and Social Justice, Joel James MS, Shadow Minister for Social Partnership, said:
“Post services are really important to businesses in the post-pandemic world.
“With the purchase of Royal Mail in motion, it’s vital for small businesses that the frequency of second class deliveries is maintained.
Joel James added:
“It’s also disappointing that the Minister takes such a dismissive tone on an issue that sits within her portfolio on the basis that it is non-devolved.”
“The impact of this purchase on Welsh businesses must be monitored by governments at both ends of the M4.”
