Commenting following the Welsh Conservative debate on the Labour Welsh Government’s NHS performance, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Health, Sam Rowlands MS, said:
“I am disappointed, but not surprised that Labour have chosen to turn a blind eye to rising waits for treatment in the Welsh NHS.
“Labour-run Wales has the longest waits for treatment in the whole UK, having hit new record highs for two consecutive months while waits fall in Conservative-run England.
“The Welsh Conservatives will continue to fight for improvements in the running of the NHS as the only party to back hiring more doctors and nurses over Labour’s plans for more politicians.”
