Ahead of the General Election, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“We have to fight right up until the last minute to ensure that a Labour Government at the other end of the M4 does not have a blank cheque to extend the war on motorists, the mismanagement of the NHS, the economic destruction and the lost generation of children we have seen thanks to the Labour Government in Wales.
“We all know the last few years have been difficult because of the pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine, but a UK Labour Government would cause untold misery for motorists, patients, parents and businesses, just like they have done in Wales, and we know they will have a soft touch on immigration.
“Only the Welsh Conservatives can continue to build on the record of falling inflation, falling unemployment and a secure future for families across Wales and the UK.
“Labour in Wales is Starmer’s blueprint for government, and their record serves as a stark warning of what a Starmer government would do.”
