Following questions to the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Planning, Joel James MS, Shadow Minister for Social Partnership, said:
“National Parks are crucial to protecting our nature, yet their poor condition in Wales risks undermining that role.
“Indeed, the failure of the Labour Welsh Government to hold Welsh Water to account for not doing enough to improve water quality is only further undermining our biodiversity.
“Unless there is urgent action to safeguard our biodiversity in Wales, we may end up losing species from our National Parks.”
