Following a Welsh Conservative motion to compel the Welsh Government to produce the evidence upon which Vaughan Gething relied when sacking Hannah Blythyn, the Senedd Chief Executive has written to the First Minister asking him to comply with the motion by 5pm on August 1st.
Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“This notice to the First Minister is unprecedented.
“That’s because we are in unprecedented circumstances, and we hope that the First Minister will comply with this notice which has been brought about by the Welsh Conservatives so Wales can get answers on this saga.
“The next important question is how many other sets of messages that may be relevant to the COVID inquiry are lurking around.”
