Ahead of the election of a new First Minister of Wales in the Senedd, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives said:
“I congratulate Baroness Eluned Morgan on the historic nature of her becoming the first female leader of her party in Wales and likely the first woman to become First Minister of Wales.
“While it’s right that Welsh Conservative calls to recall the Senedd have been heeded, Wales needs the new First Minister to use tomorrow outline the next steps for our public services after months of drift in the Welsh Government.
“Given that Eluned Morgan’s record as Health Minister was so abysmal, she should use this opportunity to get going straight away and set out a clear plan for delivery.”
