Following FMQs, Andrew RT Davies MS, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, said:
“Sadly, many people in Wales will conclude that the First Minister put politics before solving waiting lists.
“She has rightly accepted an offer for cross-border working in the NHS in order to bring waiting lists down but, when a Conservative Minister made this offer just a year ago, she slapped away the hand of friendship.
“The Welsh Conservatives will put patients and staff first and deliver the fully funded, properly staffed and rigorously defended NHS Wales deserves.”
