Labour must act fast on Bluetongue in Wales

Responding to the news that the first cases of bluetongue have been found in sheep in Wales, James Evans MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Rural Affairs, said: 

“The Labour Welsh Government must act fast to ensure the situation doesn’t get worse. 

“However, their inability to get a grip on Bovine TB in Wales fills me with little confidence that they will get this right.

“There have been cases in South East England since August, so it baffles me that the Labour Welsh Government haven’t already prepared an action plan for this inevitability.”
