Commenting on World Mental Health Day, Gareth Davies MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Mental Health and Early Years said:
“The importance put on mental health has come a long way, but there is more work to do.
“It’s vital that we continue to make progress when it comes to awareness and physical health parity, not just today, but beyond.
“What I would urge people who are suffering with mental health difficulties now, is to seek help from and speak with someone you trust, be that a friend, family member of an NHS professional. That is the first step.”
