Welcoming the £300 million investment in Bridgend, South Wales and the prospect of four micro-modular nuclear power plants being built, Welsh Conservative Shadow Economy Minister, Samuel Kurtz MS said:
“This is welcome news and exactly the kind of investment Wales needs to revitalise our economy and improve our energy security.
“Planning on projects such as this always causes delays, so we Welsh Conservatives would encourage the Welsh Government to work with the project to assist as best as possible to secure the investment, to deliver the jobs and to show, for once, that it is taking revitalising the Welsh economy and energy security seriously.”
