NRW need to get a grip on landfill stench

Responding to the news that people living near a landfill site have said the worsening smell has put them off eating and means they have to stay indoors, Janet Finch-Saunders MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Climate Change Minister, said: 

“NRW need to get a grip on this situation fast to bring much needed relief to residents in the area.

“There have been much publicised issues at another landfill site at Withyhedge going on for years, with residents in the area continuing to have their lives ruined by this site.

“Now, with two sites causing harm to residents and a £19m tax bill for financial mismanagement this is further proof that NRW are out of their depth and should be replaced.”
