The Leader of the Conservatives in the Welsh Parliament, Paul Davies MS has appointed former Cardiff North AM Jonathan Morgan as an advisor in advance of the 2021 Welsh Parliament Elections.
Mr Davies, who made the announcement today (May 7), said:
“With the Welsh Parliamentary Election now less than a year away, I am pleased to welcome Jonathan – a former Assembly Member of 12 years’ experience – to the team as my advisor on strategy and policy.
“Next year’s election will be crucial for Wales. It is essential that we break the Labour stranglehold that has held our country back for over two decades and prevented us from reaching our potential.
“Wales needs strong leadership, strong direction, and strong policies to ensure that we bounce back once the current pandemic is under control.
“Jonathan’s experience will be invaluable as we work towards the delivery of a Welsh Conservative Government in May next year.”
Mr Morgan added:
“I am delighted to have been appointed as an Advisor to Paul Davies, the Leader of the Conservatives in the Welsh Parliament.
“My last term as an Assembly Member was Paul’s first, we know each other well and I know he is leading the party with passion and determination as he sets out his vision for the first parliamentary election in 2021.
“Wales needs a Government which understands the struggles of people outside of the Cardiff Bay bubble. Having set up my own business and worked with organisations across Wales, I will ensure that the forgotten communities in North and West Wales will be at the forefront of our proposals to unleash Wales’ potential.”
