Responding to the Labour Welsh Government’s statement on economic growth, Samuel Kurtz MS, Welsh Conservative Shadow Minister for Economy and Energy said:
“The Welsh economy has been shackled by 25 years of Labour governments. With so many opportunities ahead of us, it needs to be unleashed.
“Business deaths continue to outpace business births, economic inactivity remains stubbornly higher than the UK average, and the Welsh workforce continues to take home less money than those elsewhere in the UK.
“Only the Welsh Conservatives are ready to unshackle and awaken the sleeping dragon that is the Welsh economy, ensuring that we are open for business.”
